2. What we process

  • Account data: email, username, profile name, avatar (Supabase Auth)
  • Site content you publish: text, images, links, and media you upload
  • Published-site analytics: page views, link clicks, referrer host (for your dashboard)
  • Email marketing data for creator pages: subscriber email/name, consent timestamp, confirmation status, unsubscribe status, and newsletter content you send
  • Technical logs from hosting (Vercel) and error monitoring when enabled (Sentry)

3. Purposes & legal bases

  • Provide the editor and publish your page (contract / Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
  • Security, abuse prevention, and service improvement (legitimate interest / Art. 6(1)(f))
  • Marketing-site analytics on getkonnect.net via Plausible (consent where required)
  • Email newsletters for a published page: consent of the subscriber (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), with double opt-in confirmation and unsubscribe in every message

4. Roles for email lists

When a creator collects subscribers on their Konnect page, the creator is typically the controller of that mailing list. Konnect provides the tools and acts as a processor (hosting the list and sending via Resend). Creators must provide required information (Impressum, privacy notice) and only email people who confirmed.

5. Processors

  • Supabase (auth, database, file storage) - EU/US depending on project region
  • Vercel (hosting)
  • Resend (transactional and newsletter email delivery)
  • Plausible (marketing analytics on getkonnect.net)
  • Sentry (error monitoring, when configured)

6. Retention

Account and site data are kept while your account exists. Subscriber records are kept until the creator deletes them, the subscriber unsubscribes (status retained for suppression), or the site/account is deleted. Analytics events are retained for dashboard reporting.

7. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Contact hello@getkonnect.net. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Newsletter recipients can unsubscribe via the link in every email.
